ILOCOS SUR. Engineer Joselle Gironella, the second child of the late Provincial Board Member Rosario ‘Cherry’ Gironella, take oath as the new member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Ilocos Sur.
Provincial governor Deogracias Victor Savellano administered the oath taking during the KABSAT Caravan held at San Emilio, Ilocos Sur.
The young Gironella was accompanied by his father, mayor Leonofre Gironella of Salcedo, Ilocos Sur, and was witnessed by Ilocos Sur vice governor Jerry Singson, ABC Federated President Ferdie Bannua, former SPM Alex Bistoyong and Analiza Europa, and the people of San Emilio led by Mayor Lorenzo Bragado.
“I will be an arm in helping for the welfare of our constituents in our province Ilocos Sur,” Gironella said during his speech.
He also praised the on-going KABSAT Caravan.
It was recalled that her mother, Cherry Gironella, passed away due to pancreatic cancer, and on concensus of the family Gironella and the provincial government, he was appointed as the successor of the said post.
