One tree planting activity that policemen participated.

Around 100 seedlings of fruit-bearing trees were planted around the camp of Police Regional Office 1as part of the culmination program of the Police Community Relations Month held at the PRO1 Grandstand.

Personnel of PRO1 with the employees of National Police Commission Regional Office 1 (NAPOLCOM-RO1) joined hands in a tree planting activity as they end the month-long celebration of 19th PCR Month with the theme “Pinaigting na Samahan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya Para sa Patuloy na Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Sambayanan”.

Prior to the said activity, a simple culmination program was conducted wherein NAPOLCOM-RO1 Assistant Regional Director Evangeline Almirante graced the event.

In her message, she stressed the importance of harmonious relationship and partnership of the police and the community. She also encouraged every police to become not just an exceptional agent of peace but a driving force of development in their communities.

Likewise, Police Senior Superintendent Rolie M. Saltat, PRO1 Regional Community Relations Chief, stressed the importance of harmonious relations with the community recognizing the public as vital component in modern day policing.

He further encouraged his men to continue a more sound relationship with the members of the community and instill the importance of their existence and their role in nation-building and in crime prevention. He also expressed his gratitude to the NAPOLCOM-RO1 for giving their full support in the said celebration. ###
